For healthy, normal pregnant women and their
families.
Complete/Comprehensive Prenatal Care Services at our
center.
Access to Laboratory, Ultrasound and Genetic Screening
Services.
Accepting MediCal, PPO Insurance Plans.
Sliding scale fee for uninsured and HMO clients.
Nutrition Consultation.
Lactation Consultation.
Personnel to work with all Insurance, MediCal or Financial
arrangement services.
Assistance with WIC and other services.
Attendance at labor and birth by a C.N.M. and two other
assistants (midwives, students).
All Necessary emergency equipment and medication are at
each birth and Midwives certified in CPR and Neonatal
Resuscitation.
Exam and care of newborn immediately after birth and care
of mother and baby for up to 12 hours after birth.
Follow up care of mother and infant at home on 1st and 3rd
day and 2 weeks /6 weeks after birth at the Birth Center

10 Week Childbirth Education Series
taught by certified childbirth educators.
Early Pregnancy Class covering nurtition,
exercise, and prenatal care.
Care of Mother and Baby covering the care
of post partum mom and new baby.
Sibling Class for children 3 and up to
prepare them for a new sibling.
VBAC Class for anyone considering vaginal
birth after a cesarean.
Sliding Scale available for classes. To

instructor.

Doula services for Labor and Birth offered for hospital
births (student midwives with experience/training).
Referrals to pediatricians, lactation centers, child care
resources, support groups, social service agencies, dental
care and high risk OB care. *
